Introduction

Welcome to Study World (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, including but not limited to educational counseling, university application assistance, visa guidance, and related advisory services (collectively, the “Services”). By engaging our Services, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

Services Provided

Study World offers guidance and support for students seeking admission to educational institutions abroad. Services may include:

• Academic counseling and course selection
• University shortlisting and application assistance
• Document preparation, review, and submission
• Scholarship guidance
• Visa application advisory
• Pre‑departure orientation

All Services are provided on a consultative basis. Final admission decisions, scholarship awards, and visa outcomes are solely at the discretion of the respective universities, scholarship bodies, or immigration authorities.

Eligibility and Client Responsibilities

You must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information in all documents and communications.

You are responsible for meeting all deadlines set by universities, visa offices, and other relevant bodies.

You must promptly inform Study World of any changes to your academic records, financial status, personal circumstances, or contact details.

Failure to provide required documents or information in a timely manner may result in delays or termination of Services, for which Study World shall not be liable.

Fees and Payment

• Consultation / Service Fees: Fees for our Services are detailed in the engagement letter or invoice provided to you. All consultation and service fees are quoted in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).
• Payment Stages: The payment schedule and specific milestones (e.g., initial deposit, balance upon submission of applications, etc.) shall be set forth in the individual contract or engagement letter executed between Study World and the Client. Services will be rendered only after each stage’s payment is received in accordance with that agreed schedule.
• Third‑Party & Destination Currency Fees: Fees payable to universities, embassies, consulates, testing agencies, or other third parties may be quoted in the currency of the destination country (e.g., USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, etc.). Any such fees are your direct responsibility.
• Currency Conversion & Fluctuation: Where fees are required in a currency other than PKR, the actual amount payable in PKR will be determined by the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment. All risks associated with currency fluctuations, exchange rate variations, and conversion charges shall be borne solely by the Client.
• Payment Terms: Fees must be paid in full or according to the agreed schedule before the corresponding Services are rendered. Study World reserves the right to suspend or cancel Services if payments are not received on time.
• Refund and Cancellation Policy
• No Refund on Service Fees: Once Services have commenced (e.g., after the initial counseling session or submission of an application on your behalf), the service fee is non‑refundable.
• Cancellation by Client: You may cancel your engagement by providing written notice. Any unpaid fees for work already performed will remain due.
• Cancellation by Study World: We reserve the right to terminate Services if we discover that false, misleading, or fraudulent information was provided, or if you fail to cooperate or adhere to these Terms.
• Visa Refusals or Admission Denials: Because final outcomes depend on external parties (universities, embassies, etc.), a refusal of admission, scholarship, or visa does not entitle you to a refund of our service fees, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Limitation of Liability

Study World acts as an intermediary and advisor only. We do not guarantee admission to any specific university, award of any scholarship, or approval of any visa.

We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to changes in government or embassy policies, university regulations, processing delays, natural disasters, or any other force majeure event.

In no event shall Study World’s total liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services exceed the total service fees actually paid by you to us under the engagement.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly.

Information Collected: We collect personal, academic, and financial information necessary to provide our Services. This may include identification documents, educational records, test scores, financial statements, and contact details.

Use of Information: Your information is used solely for the purpose of delivering the Services, including university applications, visa processing, scholarship applications, and communication with relevant institutions.

Data Sharing: We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share your data only with:

Educational institutions, embassies, consulates, and other third parties strictly as required to complete applications or fulfill regulatory requirements;

Service providers (e.g., courier, translation) who assist us under confidentiality obligations.

Data Security: We implement reasonable physical, technical, and organizational measures to safeguard your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Retention: Your data will be retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law.

Your Rights: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us in writing, subject to our legal obligations.

Consent: By engaging our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in this section. Any breach of confidentiality or data protection obligations will be handled in accordance with applicable Pakistani laws, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, and the Personal Data Protection Bill (when enacted).

Intellectual Property

All materials provided by Study World, including guides, checklists, templates, and reports, are for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or sold without prior written permission.

Amendments to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Continued engagement with our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated to you in writing.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, or the engagement between Study World and the Client shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Province – e.g., Punjab / Sindh / KPK / Balochistan, being the province where Study World’s principal office is situated. The parties irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of such courts.
